Our story
Two normal guys who refused to coast.
We met sophomore year at Ball State and have been pushing each other ever since. In 2021, Sawyer texted Jack: "We should start a supplement company." A month later, Jack texted back the same thing. That became Diligent Self, a gym brand built around a non-stim pre-workout.
A year and a half in, we shut it down. We're not bodybuilders. We both work full-time jobs, and that market wasn't us.
So we looked at how we actually live. Long days, a lot of travel, and both of us with ADHD. Our mornings were pre-workout, then coffee or an energy drink, then another coffee at 2pm just to make it through the afternoon. Plenty of caffeine. No electrolytes, no vitamins, and nothing that helped us stay calm and focused through a long day at a screen.
What we kept running into
Two good hours. Then a crash.
Every energy product we tried did the same thing. Most hid their doses behind proprietary blends or leaned on artificial ingredients.
